When I decided to come to Central Australia I knew it was the desert but I did have high hopes of lots of nudist swims in secluded water holes. I am so naieve lol! Water holes are pretty few and far between in this part of the world and many of them are sacred sites with no swimming allowed. Here's a rare moment of my only desert swim so far.
I've adjusted my expectations as a water baby and am finding so much peace on this land. Currently feeling beyond grateful to be on the lands of the Arrente people and learning more about their connection to country.
