Heartbroken at the sudden loss I experienced this morning. I’m going to need a little time to process everything. I lost my best friend today, my sweet old oversized lap dog. He passed peacefully in his sleep and did not suffer, but this was absolutely unexpected. I know the signs, and he wasn’t showing them. While technically he was the rescue, I was the one chosen by him and the one saved in the process. I appreciate your patience and understanding while I come to terms with this new reality.
