Accusations of racism - Eh, this is so annoying.š„ŗSo annoying, in fact, that I hesitated to even share this issue with you.I genuinely believe Iām the last person who should be accused of racism. I respect all our girls and customers, no matter where they come from.Like many clubs, we have quite a few girls from Africa, especially Nigeria. Most of them are great ā cool, hardworking, and professional. But whenever thereās a problem ā literally any time I have to deal with a conflict involving them (whether itās issues with other girls or complaints from customers) ā the same line comes up:"Hey Kathy, this isnāt fair, you know itās racism, donāt you?"WTF? No, itās not! Do your job, Iām doing mine ā donāt try to shift the blame by accusing me of being racist. Thatās just low.If I wanted to be racist, I could point out that a large portion of theft complaints tend to involve girls from Africa. Is that just a coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. But I donāt make generalizations, and I donāt accuse anyone without cause. Still, itās no surprise I get more and more frustrated every time I hear the āitās racismā excuse.I treat all the girls the same way ā fairly and professionally. But the truth is, different people try different tactics to manipulate or deflect responsibility. And unfortunately, some use accusations of racism to do that.
